SafePUPIL Training Receives NEA Recommendation

TEXARKANA, TX - Today, Vertical Alliance Group, Inc. (VAG) (www.verticalag.com) a nationally recognized leader in online safety training and consultation, announced that its SafePUPIL School Bus Safety Training Program has been awarded "RECOMMENDED" status by the Content Quality Review Board (CQRB), of the National Education Association (NEA) Academy. The NEA Academy is a collection of the finest online continuing education and college credits available for professional growth, recertification, and/or salary advancement. Inclusion in the Academy is subject to educators' review and approval of material, according to quality standards determined by NEA members.

SafePUPIL is a product of Vertical School Partners, L.P., a limited partnership owned by Vertical Alliance Group.

In March of this year the SafePUPIL School Bus Safety Training Program was submitted to the NEA Academy for consideration. The Academy's CQRB reviewed SafePUPIL online professional development programs for potential inclusion using NEA Standards for Online Professional Development and the CQRB Rubric, entering the program as a new student would and spending approximately 6 to 8 weeks reviewing the program.

SafePUPIL received high marks from the NEA for site design and the quality of training content. The NEA's findings also indicated that current bus drivers using SafePUPIL really like the system and reported in general that 'it was good for new bus drivers and helped prepare for assessments to advanced certifications."

The CQRB concluded, "SafePUPIL is a great resource for new bus drivers and for information on specific topics for licensure."
