Vertical Alliance Group Launches Online Safety Training Course for Commercial Drivers
Web Site Helps Trucking Companies Implement Safety Awareness and Testing

DALLAS – April 30, 2007 – Vertical Alliance Group Inc. (VAG) today announced its latest niche market Web site, VAGSafetyTraining.com, an online training resource for commercial trucking companies and their drivers that can be accessed from any computer with Internet access.

The site consists of a series of concise, 5-6 minute video modules featuring a professional narrator, a slide presentation that coincides with the video and a follow-up test that provides immediate feed back based on the presentation content. VAG clients that subscribe to the course receive their own branded sub-domain that can be linked to their company Web site, which makes finding the training center fast and easy.

"This is a consistent and easily accessible program that can be used by virtually any company that employs commercial drivers," said Jay Wommack, founder, president and CEO of Vertical Alliance. "It's the most cost-effective way to implement and reinforce continuous awareness of safety practices and behavior for trucking companies."

Wommack said that Safety Training is a hot topic in the transportation industry today. He cited statistics from the Department of Transportation reporting more than 5,000 fatalities involving large trucks and more than 91,000 injuries due to large truck crashes occurring on U.S. highways.

"This course pays for itself by preventing just one accident or incident," added Wommack. "Once a company enrolls, there's unlimited usage and employees can be added at no additional charge."

Safety administrators at VAGST subscriber companies can monitor the viewing and testing history of all drivers, ensuring 100 percent participation in the program. VAG also sends subscribers weekly performance reports showing all activity for that timeframe, which helps assure companies that all their field employees are up-to-date on the latest training initiatives.

Current and future training topics include Pre-trip Inspection and Maintenance, Exterior Power Unit and Trailer Inspection, Cabin Interior Pre-trip Checklist, Coupling and Uncoupling a Trailer and many more. New videos are added monthly.

Subscribers also can customize their training with up to 12 internal videos (including presentations, tests and collateral material), at no additional charge. These videos can address any topic a company wants to convey, not just safety. Drivers access the system with an assigned user name and password and only employees see custom or company-specific content.

VAGST.com is an offshoot of Vertical Alliance Group's flagship site, bubbajunk.com, a recruiting Web site where transportation companies advertise trucking job openings. BubbaJunk.com helps trucking companies counter a severe nationwide shortage of 20,000 drivers, a figure that is expected to reach 111,000 drivers by 2014, according to the American Trucking Association (ATA).
