Vertical Alliance Group
Announces New Sales
Executive VP
Vertical Alliance Group, Inc. (VAG) (www.verticalag.com),
a nationally recognized leader in providing customized information delivery
systems – online-based solutions that allow companies to deliver, track and
manage virtually any type of information, announced today that Al Wolk has
joined their staff as Executive Vice-President of Sales and
Marketing.
Wolk has an enviable track record of
sales and sales leadership success in both start-up and Fortune 100
organizations, having built four sales organizations from the ground-up and
generating substantial revenue that resulted in highly successful mergers and
acquisitions.
As VP of Worldwide Sales for a new
business initiative at Intel Corp., Wolk built a sales organization that
generated over $100 million in revenue its 1st year, and was responsible for the
sale of the Enterprise Software Group to Verisign. Wolk also spent 10 years with
Alcon Systems as Regional VP and finishing as Director of Sales for an
organization of over than 175 sales professionals and $2 billion in sales.
“Al Wolk comes to VAG with an impressive
record of sales successes”, said Jay Wommack, President and CEO of VAG. Wommack
says he is “counting on Wolk to replicate that success with Vertical Alliance
Group.”
Wommack went on to say that Wolk’s sales
experience with firms such as Intel and Alcon, “are the mark of a true
‘A-Player’, and an incredible talent – we are indeed fortunate to have been able
to bring him onboard. Al understands – and has blue chip company experience- in
selling software as a solution, and his record of sales success, combined with
knowledge of emerging, ‘bleeding-edge’ technologies, makes him an invaluable
addition to the VAG team.”
